Ms. Cheng joined W. P. Carey in 2003 and was promoted to Managing Director of the Asia Division in 2007. She is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and closing investments throughout Asia. Prior to joining W. P. Carey, she worked in investment banking at Merrill Lynch in the telecommunications, media and technology group and in equity research at Credit Suisse, covering the wireless equipment sector. Ms. Cheng was also Co-Founder of a venture capital-backed professional services firm, providing information processing and IT services to global businesses.
Ms. Cheng holds a B.A. from Yale University with a double major in Economics and Chinese and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
