Mr. Luoma joined W. P. Carey & Co. LLC in 2006. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Luoma had worked at UBS Investment Bank (asset-backed finance) and at BMW Group (research and development). Mr. Luoma holds a Master of Engineering from Oxford University in Materials, Economics and Management (MEM), and he is a Reserve Officer in the Finnish Navy.
Since joining the international Investment Team, Mr. Luoma has helped acquire over €380 million in commercial real estate across Scandinavia and Continental Europe on behalf of W. P. Carey. He has extensive experience in the financial modeling of complex foreign investment structures for both single- and multi-jurisdictional real estate portfolios.
